Renew Your Strength In the Lord

Grandpa died last week. This has been a very difficult time for us.

On the morning of Grandpa's funeral, I was not sure if I could go on. I had to wake up very early and I had not gotten much sleep since his death. I knew I was going to need strength and lots of it and I felt that I had none.

The Lord immediately sent me to Isaiah 40:28-31:

Have you not known? Have you not heard? The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth.
He does not faint or grow weary; his understanding is unsearchable.
He gives power to the faint, and to him who has no might he increases strength.
Even youths shall faint and be weary, and young men shall fall exhausted;
but they who wait for the LORD shall renew their strength;
they shall mount up with wings like eagles;
they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.

I thank God for getting me through that day and so many other difficult days.
If you are facing difficult days, pray this passage of Scripture to the Lord and wait for him to help you.

How to renew your strength in the keeper of your soul,Our Master and King...

Courageous Women, nurturing moms face every day battles to salvage their marriage and their position in their children's life,then go through the process to heal from the challenges that strike at any time without warning. Why is it that covenanted marriages and families face a world of "disregarded principles" by themselves, as it seems? God Himself, has given each one of us a living hope for a sacred marriage vow and protection to have Godly provisions that work in raising our children. We can learn that we made our marriage vow to God and he blessed us with our children, whom there is no failure. We are frail and will come into times of great storms, it will be difficult, but there will be no destruction. Love is never ready to expose the failings of others. When those failings threaten to destroy the person engaged in them and the family that God created for his purpose...blinded passions, can see no evil and it has the potential to disintegrate the family. There comes a time when we have to weigh the affair of our minds, against a standard of righteousness. Hope deferred maketh the heart sick but desire fulfilled is a tree of life. He who despises a word will suffer for it, but he who RESPECTS a command will be rewarded. Proverbs 13:12

An encounter with The True and Living God, The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob [ Israel ] will totally transfers and transforms our marriage and children..transfer and renew our thinking and transform our Actions toward one another. The fear of man is swallowed up in their hunger to really "KNOW GOD" and MAKE Him KNOWN to each other. This will blow your world apart, you will know what you have been saved "from" and saved "to" Salvation has to be more than fire insurance...at that point, we became very broken, and God speaks in a still small voice.."I have called you to myself to give a lost and dying world more than platitudes, Arise, shine; for thy light is come, and the glory of the Lord is risen upon thee. for, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people;...His glory shall be seen upon thee.Isaiah 60:1,2
There are two kinds of darkness in this passage; a darkness that covers the earth and a gross darkness that covers the People.
Covering the earth is choshek which means falsehood, ignorance, and blindness. The gross darkness covering the people is araphel which refers to the misery and gloom that settle on people who are blinded by falsehood and ignorance. It is a common condition of all people,if not attended to, we gradually pull away from life and its relationships, especially our marriages. The eye is the lamp of the body. If the eye is sound, your entire body will be full of light; but if your eye is unsound, your whole body will be full of darkness. Our belief kept us from dealing with the realities of our life. We are worthy of love. These scriptures are good news to someone struck in a marriage, wayward parenting and who feels powerless. These words will give strength.
No more guessing what is required of a covenanted marriage and the vow we made before God. Because of chooses we make that agree with God's word, the warmth of security and encouragement blows its breath on the embers of hope stirring in the hearts and minds of many couples and their children. Your children won't know the truth unless you tell them to your children.
Our prayers will be effective when we ask for help to live a set-apart life, to reverance our husbands and earn the respect of your children, honor him, esteem him, appreciate him, and prize him, even if he does not deserve it, first obedience,than understanding will follow.
